Snowflake Monday

We traveled to the West Slope of Colorado for Thanksgiving and enjoyed a calm, peaceful White Friday. But not because of snow!

I'd never really noticed the alkaline soil along the irrigation ditch banks near my in-laws' home until this trip. Perhaps because in the past, we were always able to make a quick run to Moab for great rides and/or hikes or to the Grand Mesa for the most awesome cross-country skiing.

I so miss our adventure trips, but we can still find joy in simple things, even when confined to home. We can even find white in the desert the day after Thanksgiving!

You may do whatever you'd like with snowflakes you make from this pattern, but you may not sell or republish the pattern. Thanks, and enjoy!

Finished Size: 6.5 inches from point to point
Materials: Size 10 crochet thread, size 7 crochet hook, empty pizza box, wax paper or plastic wrap, cellophane tape, water soluble school glue or desired stiffener, water, glitter, small container for glue/water mixture, paintbrush, stick pins that won't be used later for sewing, clear thread or fishing line
