WIP Wise

Snowbike

Finished four quilts during the first quarter of 2015!!! And now, I will be very lucky to finish anything fibery at all during the next four or five months as I intensely train for Ride the Rockies and participate in five or six really big charity bicycle rides.

Although, I do have to admit, my first Ticker Tape quilt was SO much fun, I might get a couple more of those done just because they are fun to work on after a hard day of work or training. I have so many Ticker Tape ideas in my head! I need to let some of them escape before the mass explodes! And I need to use up the scrap stash before it takes over the entire spare bedroom.

The Ravelry challenge to finish at least one quilt every three months moved into the second quarter this month, and it's time once again to make a list, check it twice or thrice, find out who's naughty and who's nice, then decide which WIP will make it to the finish line by the end of June.

I didn't start ALL the new quilts during the first quarter. I had starts last year I hadn't yet added to the list because I knew I couldn't get to them. Even though my list this quarter is a bit longer than my list last quarter after finishing four quilts, I didn't go on another new start spree. Yet!!! (No promises new ideas will stay in my head this quarter!)

  1. I like most all of them. However, I think I like the flake bicycle, Snowflake Heartburn and Snowflake Strip Bar the best.

  2. Wow, that is sure a ton. All the colors of the rainbow. Kind of fits with he Hawaiian theme of the firs, with all the colors spanning out from there.

    1. Thanks, Sue! I am going to finish that Hawaiian Compass one day. It's just too addictive right now; I wouldn't get anything else done. :)
