Deserve it all and more for all they do
ReplyDeleteAgreed, Pat. We can't do enough to honor and thank them.
DeleteA dark day. But a great living memorial.
ReplyDeleteYes, Catsynth. I count myself fortunate that I work in a place where I get to see this tribute every year.
DeleteNo words necessary, we will never forget.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Karen.
DeleteMy students really loved having our Aurora firemen visit our class. They are a special breed of hero! Take care!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Louise. How neat that the firefighters were taking time to meet with the students. That's a great way of developing respect from early on!
DeleteThanks for sharing this. Made me cry.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue. They let me go in the basement for photos yesterday while they were getting ready to go, and it was so humbling to see hundreds of firefighters all stretching and preparing for this annual event.
