  2. The detail in that last image is amazing - is that the same source as the others (which I think are pussywillow buds)? The spirals are quite interesting.

  3. Pussy-willows and ??? What are the curled up wispy things? Nice macro photography of whatever it is.

  4. Breathless... So much so, I almost inhaled my computer screen looking at the first shot.

The most delicate, intricate signs of spring, here.

  9. I don't think I have ever looked at a pussywillow that closely...but what are the spirals. Do tell!

  10. You won't believe the amount of research that went into trying to find out what the "curliques" or "tendrils" are -- because I had no clue what kind of bush it was. They are tails of the mountain mahogany bush. Ta da!

  11. Hi there!

I really like the last photo! The second one kinda creeped me out, though but it's a good shot.

  14. How beautiful. I love pussywillows. There aren't many around these parts though which is a shame.

By the way, you could definitely make the sugar-free versions of my nests. Get some diabetic dark chocolate, a little honey and some olive oil spread. Not sure whether you would get hold of sugar-free mini-eggs though.

  15. Did you find the pussy willows around here? Do pussy willows grow around here? Because if they do, I must have some...
