The Height of Excellence

Squared Illusion 6 by Gloria Hansen, SAQA Color Wheel of Emotions

Here are more of my favorite quilts from the Denver National Quilt Festival. This year's theme was "The Height of Excellence." Because I shot about 800 photos in three hours, I have a few more shots to share for upcoming special occasions, such as Fourth of July and Christmas. What better way to celebrate a holiday -- or even a rainbow -- than to feast your eyes on the outstanding needlework of artists from all over the country!

    1. I don't quilt as well as they do yet, Charlotte, but they give me something to shoot for!

    1. Yes, so well done, Pat. I could just stare at them all day. Or wrap up in one and admire the quilting... :)

  4. Speechless.

Okay, have to say that those tiny pieced squares in the Irish Chain blew me even further away than I was already blown by these astonishing quilts.
