Snowflake Monday

Twisted Space Snowflake

I wrote the pattern for this snowflake on my iPhone aboard a commuter train a couple of years ago or so. And I left it there. Who knows how long?

When I lost a different snowflake pattern I'd written on my iPhone last year, I found several patterns or partial patterns from years past. This pattern was one of them. But the final two rounds were scrambled. I didn't even have a photo of the snowflake to work from. So today's snowflake may or may not resemble that initial snowflake.

I don't remember if I liked the original snowflake, but I like this version of it a lot. So I guess it's a good thing the pattern got twisted in space. Hey, that makes a great snowflake name!!!

Because today is St. Patrick's Day, I just HAVE to share this: The Best Jacquie Lawson Card Ever. Happy St. Patty's Day, and may many rainbows come your way!

You may do whatever you'd like with snowflakes you make from this pattern, but you may not sell or republish the pattern. Thanks, and enjoy!

  3. Oh my gosh, that IS the best Jacquie Lawson card ever!!! How amazingly creative.

This is a great snowflake and a great name for it - the tips remind me both of the Space Needle and in a way of the Starfleet logo. I like the thread too - wonder who dyed it? :)

    1. Ha ha ha, you always know my hand-dye, don't you, Sue? Did you recognize the snow-dyed fabric, too??? :)

I hadn't thought about the Space Needle or Starfleet logo, but I'm glad you pointed that out. Now I'll always connect this flake with two of my favorite things!
