In last week's Wordless Wednesday, I showed off my snazzy picotee amaryllis.

I don't know if amaryllis can form seeds. Daffodils, hyacinth and day lilies do, if they are pollinated. Still too cold in these here parts for bees, so I did my best bee impression with a Q-Tip.
I think my amaryllis might be pregnant!

haha kinda went kaput after the photo shoot, wore it out at your sea. At least it will be a cheap pregnancy lol
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching the amaryllis journey through its life cycle. It brightened up late winter.
ReplyDeleteInteresting question about the seeds. Wonder if amaryllis is edible? (Somehow I have the feeling it's not....)
