Pickle Tickle

pickle blossoms

In New Mexico, my garden provided more fresh veggies than one person could eat. I had so many tomatoes and cucumbers, I took extras to work by the boxload each week to share.

In Colorado, tomatoes and cucumbers are not so easy for me. I get about five tomatoes from anywhere up to eight plants each summer, but I've yet to produce a single cucumber. Until this year...

My first pickle!!!

Unfortunately, this is as big any of the six got. But, at least the deer didn't eat them!

  1. Well it is a start. May be very tiny though, one gulp or two and it would be gone forever haha

  2. They'll be bigger next year. Perhaps we should till a portion of the upper terrace for vegies.
