Wishing

wheelchair soccer

12-year-old Luka has muscular dystropy and wishes he could run, skateboard and shoot baskets like other boys.

I wish I had been the photographer to come up with this idea.

  3. Yes, I imagine it must be very hard to be in a wheelchair as a child.

    1. I think it would indeed be very hard, CameraGirl, but the kids I've met have been in wheelchairs their whole lives, and they don't know anything different. They have amazing attitudes!

  4. It makes me feel guilty for complaining about cycling in less-than-perfect weather ... at least I can ride a bike!

    Thank you for this reminder of why we're doing what we're doing next month.
