I pulled out my sunflower flimsy Wednesday morning with every intention of completing a backing for it so I can finally finish the quilt.

The day got away from me. Time seems to do that to me these days. Fortunately, I do still have a couple of finished crochet projects I haven't shared yet.

One of my goals this summer was to finish edging, before autumn begins, the summery fleeces I designed for Spoonflower, including the rainbow patchwork of flowers from my garden.

One down, two to go, and, what? A week of summer left??? Or at least ten more days of summer weather??? At least I'm working on getting something done each day, even if not an official completion every 24 hours.

Your snap on label is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cherie. They are sometimes a pain to put on, but I do love them.
DeleteWhat a great way to finish that project! I love your label. It looks like it would be hard to snap on; but, dang it is totally cool!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tery! They are a real challenge to snap on. I am no longer keeping track of how many bottoms break while I try to snap them. Worth it in the end, though, because I do think they add a unique finishing touch.
DeleteThat is super cool!!! I love how you design things and then actually make something from them. I think you should do a tute for those of us who want to see how much work goes into your items.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alycia! I might actually try doing that. I've got a bunch of mourning glory photos (and yes, I meant to spell it that way) I think would make a great patchwork. I don't think I've ever shared the digital patchwork process.
