Life After Lockdown

Trying to get a vaccination appointment in the Denver Metro area is near impossible. So I scheduled my shots 60 miles away. Lizard decided he wanted to go with me, even though being in a car can be very difficult and uncomfortable for him these days. It's the first time we've been anywhere other than medical appointments since November 2019.

Talk about refreshing!!!

We encountered a dynamite sunrise prior to my first shot.

We arrived an hour and a half early the second time around, so we decided to take a brief little sunrise walk at Garden of the Gods. Oh, my gosh, words cannot describe how wonderful those ten chilly minutes were!

The Next Best Thing

Just about the only photography I've done since early May was in my garden or out my working-from-home window. I did manage to sneak in two short little hikes before it got too hot, and I managed to capture a few dazzling sunrises, most from over my fence. But the majority of my photography so far this year has been right in my own little paradise. Hopefully it won't be long now before Lizard and I can get out again!
