Snowflake Monday

Cold Storage Snowflake Rock

Last week my work group moved to a new floor. Today is my first day in my new office.

Last week I also learned I would be speaking in church yesterday. I had to write what I would say, and I had to practice.

Weeks like this make me very thankful I have a stash of 28 new snowflakes. Well, 27 now...

You may do whatever you'd like with snowflakes you make from this pattern, but you may not sell or republish the pattern. Thanks, and enjoy!

Finished Size: 4 inches from point to point
Materials: Size 10 crochet thread, size 8 crochet hook, empty pizza box, wax paper or plastic wrap, cellophane tape, water soluble school glue or desired stiffener, water, glitter, small container for glue/water mixture, paintbrush, stick pins that won't be used later for sewing, clear thread or fishing line

  3. Pretty little snowflake that. Oh but I do hate speaking in front of people! I had to present a person for baptism once and I thought my knees would fail me and I would tumble on the floor!

  7. Any lavender snowflake would capture my fancy, but this is a beauty on its own merits. Hope you had a smooth week, and that speaking in church was not too traumatizing! :)

    1. Thanks, Sue! I may just have to find time to break out the dyes again and make some more lavender; I'm all out!!!

Speaking in church went okay, surprisingly. People were still coming up to me this last weekend (a week after the ordeal) to tell me they had enjoyed my presentation. (Which included a couple of a capella verses, I might add...) So maybe it went okay. Just maybe.
