Bike Path Brilliance

almost gone

I rode my bike to work for the first time since Bike to Work Day in June. I could ride only one way because I'm not up to 60 miles yet. Nevertheless, the bike path downtown provided more than a day's worth of stunning and unexpected fall scenery.

I cycled by the red walls before the sun came up, so there wasn't enough light for photos. So I walked back the following day during my lunch hour with the real camera (and donated blood during lunch hour, too!).

    1. Thanks, Glor! I wish autumn could last longer, but I guess if we saw those radiant colors ever day, they wouldn't be as special. Darn it!

    1. Thanks, Karen! I have to enjoy bright sunny days as much as possible, too, because we never know for sure when the next big storm... or wind... will hit!

  5. Oh, so gorgeous - the Virginia creeper in our area did very poorly this year (dang drought) and I missed its autumn splendour around town. Thanks so much for letting us see yours! And congrats on riding to work.... :)
