seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

These are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ann!
DeleteI Love the turtles! I found your site when I was looking for how to crochet a snowflake. Thank you so much for all the great patterns that you have!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rebecca, and welcome!
DeleteOMG, those are the cutest crocheted turtles ever. And, as usual, your photography is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kristin! I sure had a ball making them! And shooting them...
DeleteThose are very cute! And so tiny, too. Must be a challenge to crochet.
ReplyDeleteNot too bad. Sewing the legs on is the hardest part. Thanks, Catsynth!
DeleteAwwwwwww! So cute :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! It's a herd of turtles that have come to save the day! :)
ReplyDeleteAre they going to chase away the chocolate so it doesn't tempt me anymore?!? :) Gotta put those girl scout cookies out of sight! Or maybe the turtles will eat them so I won't be tempted!
DeleteOh!! Oh, my!! Those are just adorable, Deborah!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Debra! (great name, by the way!)
DeleteI especially like the turtle totem with Mama Stone at the base. Also the long-necked green guy who seems to be the lookout turtle.
ReplyDeleteP.S. If I didn't know how busy you are, I'd think you sat around playing with yarn and cameras all day! :)
Almost all day, Sue... :) Or, well, all night. Ha ha!
DeleteMy favorite shot is all the turtles on the rocks before I got to put them outside because the snow finally melted!
I love turtle, there is just something about them, and your crochet ones are adorable and so itty bitty, I love things in miniature too...thanks for sharing these little gems.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Faith! I've been wanting to make turtles for a while now, and I finally sat down and did it!
DeleteAh! More critters to add to the RockCatcher store! Butt .... I'm STILL counting on a goat, cuz' ya' know, goats are where it's at. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I can shape a crocheted rock into a goat, Marigold, but I guess it's worth a try, with short legs, maybe... :)
DeleteWhat cute and colorful turtles. I love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks, KB!
DeleteSuch cute turtles!! Do you have a pattern for them to share? I'd love to make a few of my own. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Princessquiltsalot! Yes, there is a pattern, and it will be available next Monday. It will be in this year's snowflake pattern booklet to raise money for the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
DeleteI love the photo, where they are upside down :).
ReplyDeleteThanks, Neferi! I thought that might be a little unusual and comical!
DeleteTurtles! I really love turtles. :-)
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Sam! Even in real life. I see them sometimes on the bike path, and I always have to stop and take a picture. Or 20...
