I was trying to get this finished last night so I could post it today. But I couldn't stay awake long enough to stuff it. I finally finished stuffing and closing it up at about 8:15 this morning.

This is my gift to my mom this year for Mother's Day. My brother taught her how to use various video calling programs on her phone at Christmas, and we've been able to enjoy our televisits since then with video! This has been so special for me!

My mom was trying to stand her phone against a stack of phone books or whatever she had on her kitchen table, and it often falls over during the call. I'd seen stands like this on Pinterest, so I decided that would make a nice gift for her. She loves everything homemade. This is stuffed with tiny leftovers and scraps I've collected over the years. The blue denim-hued crocheted phone stand goes in the mail to her today!

Now I need to finish another for Lizard's mom. She uses a notebook for her video calls, and she has trouble keeping it in one position on her lap. That's why I made the first one so big. I wanted to see if it would also work for a phone, in case she ever wants or needs to do that. And the second one I make won't have to be mailed. We hope to deliver it to her in person next week!
