Where were you when I had my thinking cap on?!? :)<br /><br />Yes, I used a metallic thread needle. I had tension troubles throughout the project, even when I was using plain white thread. I had the machine serviced last summer for tension problems, and it's been much better. Although "Special" is a pretty good play on "Specialized".... (Just realised it's probably "Snowbike" - also a really good name!)<br /><br />For future reference - did you use metallic thread needles when doing the metallic thread quilting? They really do help prevent breakage - Schmetz makes them.<br /><br />Just scrolled up to look at those pictures again. WOW again!
