You allowed her to dream, to make plans no matter how short or long term. I lost my first daughter to cancer at the age of 2 1/2. I did everything I could to make her life normal and happy. I then went on to volunteer with Ronald McDonald House.
We all have a part to play in life. Grief is such a fickle thing - coming and going when we least expect it. Truer words were never spoken about the importance of time. Take comfort in the fact that you were a good and loving friend, there when she needed it most. We should all be so lucky to have that in our lives.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06229841615637364128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7672125489692725745.post-62290632034464751392011-02-10T12:35:30.262-07:002011-02-10T12:35:30.262-07:00I've got a lump in my throat that almost preve...I've got a lump in my throat that almost prevents me from typing this.

You're right. How wonderful for Shonna that you were brave and thoughtful enough to spend her last days with her. Not everyone has the strength and compassion to do such things. You are an inspiration!Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16745889026665681137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7672125489692725745.post-18445357109714252192011-02-10T09:30:21.962-07:002011-02-10T09:30:21.962-07:00Oh yes, spending time with people is important. You are a very special person, I knew that before and know that even more through this. You and Shonna now have a spiritual relationship. Thank you for sharing this. In this often too busy life we all lead we forget what's important. God bless.glorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09909841401746816795noreply@blogger.com
