Snowflake Monday

Today's snowflake was designed a couple of years ago while we were traveling home from a glorious day in the Weminuche Wilderness, which we'll be riding up against on Day 4 of Ride the Rockies this summer.

When The Lizard and I backpacked into the Weminuche Wilderness via Hunchback Pass a year and a half after my life-altering emergency back surgery, I had no idea before the trip we had a mountain that fit the way I was feeling at the time. I told the Lizard back then I'd like to go back one day and climb Hunchback Mountain just to repeat my hunchback pose on top. It doesn't look like a very difficult peak to climb... (That's Hunchback Mountain behind me in the top photo.)

I still hope to return one day. Preferably when the wildflowers are going nuts. Even though that's when the biting flies also are going nuts.

Man, the wildflowers in the Weminuche were out of this world!!! (And these photos were all before I got my good camera!)

So were the mushrooms...

You may do whatever you'd like with snowflakes you make from this pattern, but you may not sell or republish the pattern. Thanks, and enjoy!
