    1. Well, peek out is what they were about to do... Ten more inches arrived today. We'll see how they fare with this blanket...

  2. Signs of spring! I like the way they are arranged in a narrative from snow to blooms.

  4. You have blossoms! (We don't even have leaves yet ... though my chives have just begun to poke out.) I can almost smell those grape hyacinths.

Crazy spring weather, isn't it? We have ice, sleet, snow and rain right now. (But not 10 inches' worth, thank goodness.)

    1. Yes, Sue, we have blossoms! You're not going to believe this (or maybe you will), but they are buried with another 10 fresh new inches yesterday, with eight more on the way tomorrow... Well, we needed the moisture, right??? Nevertheless, my brand new bulbs aren't going in the ground until the danger of hard freeze passes...

    1. Well, I heard yesterday, Neferi, that spring is sleeping in this year. I guess that will do...

  7. I love the Grape Hyacinth, especially the one with 4 plants in a row lined up. Your photos are a reminder that spring really will be here someday!

I have had a macro lens to play with, loaned to me by a generous friend. I am learning that macro photography is very tricky. You are so skilled and talented!!!!

Spring came and went, but maybe it will return again this weekend...

  8. I dig the fourth from the top the most. I dig emergence of life in the spring time. This is a splendid celebration.
