  4. I've never seen a ptarmigan when he/she was molting. Great photo.

    I love the sights of spring snow... and there sure is lots of it this year! It forms such amazing microsculptures and patterns that show avalanche activity. Thanks for the glimpse of that world! We plan a trip soon that normally takes us up high... but I have the feeling that we may be changing our "usual" campsites due to too much snow!

    Based on your photos, I'm quite sure that I should visit Mt Evans more often than I do!

  7. The famed Triple Bypass jersey! I love the "photograph the photographer" shot. We do that in my family all the time - take pictures of each other taking pictures.

    I've never loved running but if I had a place like that to run in ... I might reconsider. Beautiful.
