Sky Lights

Here are a few more sights I've seen while pedaling to and from work along the South Platte bike path over the years:

crepuscular rays
Simply Glorious
Wingtip Splasher
crepuscular rays
Dandelion Sunrise
Yucca Rise
Meadowlark Serenade
Dual Exposure
Where I Work
Smoke from a Distant Fire
Sunset Raindrops
Bronco Colors
Early Riser
Sunflower Sunrise
Doesn't get any better than this.
This is why I love riding to work! Even if I have to get up at 4 a.m.

  1. Amazing, no wonder you get up, don't know if I would love going to work afterwards but what an incredible way to start off!

  2. They are beautiful photos. You definitely have the knack to capture the moment. It would be my wish that when you had some time (this winter, perhaps) you could make some of those pictures available as background photos for our computers.

  4. Blogger is playing hard to get. It's not automatically showing up your posts for hours and hours after you've published them. Blargh... Anyway...

My favorite picture is the last one. That would make such an awesome background!! Frankly, I'm loving all of your silhouette pictures.

  5. Wow! Thanks, everyone!

Grandma Beth, you are right. It's been a LONG time since I've added any free wallpaper to the collection. And I will try to make some time to do that soon. Meanwhile, one of the photos included here already is free wallpaper, and one taken the same day as the final picture here also is already on my free wallpaper page, located here.

  9. I was thinking, "Wow. What time does she get up?" and you answered my question.

Knockout photos. I love the ripples on the water.

Almost makes me wish I didn't live just a block away from my job. :)

  10. I love sunrises and sunsets. Although I prefer sunsets because then I don't have to get up so early.

    These photos are amazing!

  12. Oh my goodness - that is one of the most fabulous series of photos that I've ever seen. I can't even begin to pick a favorite. Wow.

Maybe I should wake up at 4AM!

  13. If I'm up at 4am, it's to catch a flight and even then I only bother opening one eye. But these amazing photographs sorta make me want to give it a try. Apparently I've been missing something.
